Better late than never....

So this guy called up my school the week before the SuperBowl (Steelers won!) and wanted a giant sign to take to the SuperBowl. I offered to do it. The saying was "One for the Thumb" around here, because the Pittsburgh Steelers had won 4 SuperBowl rings in years past, and upon winning, this was to be their 5th win, hence, one for the thumb.

Well after the Steelers won, a picture of MY sign made it on the front cover of the sports section in USA TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-The actual size of the sign was about 36inx56in( 3 feet x 4.5 feet!!) ...I took a picture of my roomate's hand, and manipulated the rings on to the hand, applied a Photoshop filter, and then the 5th ring was a seperate piece that the printer turned into a magnet, so upon winning the Super Bowl, the client could apply the ring to the thumb. ( and yes he put the ring on sideways..the wrong way..grrr).

But yeah, it was featured on all the news stations here during all the pep rallies prior to the SuperBowl, and then again at our Super Bowl parade
(where the USA TODAY picture was taken).

The client I made this for is in the picture holding the hand , but i couldnt scan the whole thing in.. so ya kinda lose the effect of how big it is..but then again even against the huge buildings it looks big I guess.
